Unfortunately if this is not split into multiple files somehow (I have not checked, but I believe there to be an option for this) then the whole disk image will be transferred every single time even a small change is made.

Just trying to inform people of this on a mac forum will probably get you ostracised, because you know that Steve does not make mistakes.
